Finding Joy in the Little Things: Our Park Adventures with Ladybugs

Being a mom is a rollercoaster ride, filled with both joyful moments and challenging times. But one of the best parts is watching my little one light up when we go outside. Going to the park has become our favorite thing to do. It’s not just about the swings and slides – it’s about being in nature and seeing my kiddo explore and have fun. It’s good for both of us to get out, breathe in the fresh air, and make memories.

The other day a few girls were catching ladybugs and my son also joined them. At first, I was scared that snakes might be there, and I told him not to go into the tall grass. But he was very interested in looking at the cute ladybugs. Then I also joined him so that I could keep a closer look on the ground. It felt safe, and I enjoyed looking at the ladybugs with them. I tried to capture pics with my phone, but it was very hard to focus on the tiny creature.

So the next time when we went to the park, I was the one who was more curious about finding ladybugs 😊 I had to get a good picture of it! I tried…, I tried all the tricks I can think of and finally I got one good picture!

Now when we go to the parks it’s a fun activity for me and my son to look for some ladybugs on the way 😊

It’s amazing how something as simple as looking for ladybugs in the grasses can bring so much joy and excitement. The park has truly become a place of wonder for both of us, filled with endless opportunities for exploration and discovery.
